Having a Master of Arts in Writing & Digital Communication in addition to a Bachelor of Arts in Theatre with a minor in Telecommunications & Film, I have intimately and uniquely studied storytelling. The 21st century has been one of rapid online innovation and connection, altering the methods in which we create and consume stories. We have the unfathomable capability of sharing information across the globe and establishing like-minded communities without meeting face-to-face. The COVID-19 pandemic catapulted life with technology even further, and with its persistent advancements, we need honest digital storytelling now more than ever.
My goal is to join action with creativity by utilizing online platforms to tell real and exceptional stories. I am passionate about gathering information and communicating it in the most efficient, effective, and creative way possible seeking to capture an audience, challenge perspectives, and grow communities.
We have the opportunity to craft creative networks and the responsibility to amplify stories different than our own. I intend to become a part of the new era of storytelling, with the hope to implement integrity, embrace authenticity, and compose a more equitable future.
